tonyp1
Should the case back be polished or sanded? My rep is a DW but its case back is polished. I believe mine is suppose to represent a circa 74. Edited June 8, 2007 by tonyp1

Guest avitt
They were originally polished. Some of the cases that you see on eBay have been scuffed up, to artificially give them a vintage look. It's really up to you: Do you want your watch to look like a pristine safe queen, or do you want it to have a more "experienced" look? Sorry It was unclear to me whether they meant scuffing of the case or the case back itself.
