That’s a bit over my head at the moment. But I went with the clean cause of the better movement. mlfloyd Posted October 21 Report Share Posted October 21 When it comes to movements I generally stay with the A2824 or A2836. They’re easier as well as cheaper to replace. Cubatobaco Posted October 24 Report Share Posted October 24 My introduction to taking a movement apart was this watch.. I dropped it...hard, and knocked stuff loose. I figured, if it's broken why not teach myself in the meantime. So the DD3285 was my starter. It came in handy on a Bruce Wayne that I purchased (CF) in that some of the screws, on the top bridge, backed themselves out and one went in the escapement and one lay under the balance wheel.
