cib0rgman Posted Saturday at 01:49 PM Report Posted Saturday at 01:49 PM Hello, My son who wears this one lost the crown. don't ask how, I made myself the same question. I think he left it open and and bumped into something and broke the stem. I have no been able to find one similar on ebay and even not sure how to pull the tube out. i guess is hold by friction?
Buddhabar Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM If the stem is broken, you need to disassemble the movement from the case and you should be able to remove it with tweezers. Then you should measure the diameter of the tube and replace the crown with the correct one. Usually the tube should be 2.6mm. You should also buy a new stem that is compatible with the movement. If it is a replica I suggest you look at this: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005005067688765.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.6a0018fcvObLCz&mp=1&pdp_npi=5%40dis!EUR!EUR 22.04!EUR 14.99!!EUR 14.99!!!%40211b612517457928652455867eb7b5!12000031510379727!ct!IT!716523293!!1!0&gatewayAdapt=glo2ita

I pull everything apart and I even remove the glass, but it looks like a difficult job. this watch was the first version ever of the Planet ocean. not sure how to pull that tube out of the case
Buddhabar Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago I understand that it is not easy to fix. You don't have to rush first of all. In my opinion, I would not remove the tube until you buy the crown with the attached tube, because there is a possibility that the crown will fit the existing tube. If for example it is not compatible you will have to remove the tube and put the new one. If the PO you have is the first version it could be that the tube is recessed, as happened in my case. If you were in Europe I would have tried to fix it for you, but with the current customs problems it is highly inadvisable to send it to me.Pics of mine for next restore with mod dial and insert.Crown and tube from ali...
cib0rgman Posted 9 hours ago Author Report Posted 9 hours ago I have no idea how the tube is installed. Do you know that. I lived in Germany from 2018 to 2023, but now I am back in this sad place called USA 😐

If you have to sacrifice the existing tube, you must take a pair of pliers with pointed noses and remove it without twisting to avoid it breaking. I repeat, the tube should be the one with a snap-fit (without thread). Otherwise (i.e. with a screwed tube) you must unscrew it counterclockwise. Having said that, I still recommend that you first purchase the tube + crown kit and test its compatibility with the existing tube without disassembling it. If it is not compatible, you can proceed with disassembly. Oh by the way, it's the same all over the world...I think that every place in the world can have its positive sides, but also its negative ones. Have a nice day.
