justaguy88
Seeing this watch just makes me wanna spring for the gen. The build quality is incredible, and there is just a little "something" that makes it stand out....so smooth and well finished. ahhhhh.....reps for now..... Jetsons
Excellent post and photos, Flav. Very nice finish on the movement.....looks terrific! I'm surprised that a gen movement on this caliber watch would be as dry as you found it. Thanks for sharing!
TK471
What was the film around the regulator arm you were talking about? Just gunk? In the last pic it looks like there are some marks around that area. Is that where you had to scrape it?

z80
Very nice pics, thanks! I never realized the entire case.. well except the back, of an 001 was polished.

If you want to make this improvement to your own rep, pick up a Jimmy Fu case. They are exactly 1:1, and are finished like the original.
flavor flav
What was the film around the regulator arm you were talking about? Just gunk? In the last pic it looks like there are some marks around that area. Is that where you had to scrape it? it almost looked like dried superglue on a matte surface. after three dips in "one dip" (very strong cleaner) didn't get it off, i had to scrape it. it's not good to have anything in the path of the regulator arm. she's running silky smooth
