dak244 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) Is this normal? I just received a 183 from another member and it seems to be acting a little weird. When I pull the crown out, I wind it by turning it counter-clockwise (which I initially thought was weird, because I read it was clockwise). Then, after adjusting the tiime, I push the crown back in and the time can still be adjusted, but the seconds hand is running. So I then have to fully start screwing in the crown before it will disengage from the time adjusting rotor. Is all this weird? Am I not doing it right? bruce79 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 It sounds like you may have some issues with the stem...but the seconds hand should still be moving while you set the watch...it's a non hacking movement.
