IMO, there is not that amount of pressure for a sapphire crystal to break...I guess I will brake while pressing it not 4 months latter. I was a lucky guy and found an entire case kit but it was a buy by chance and unfortunately I can't recommend a source. That chrono is one of my favs but that damn crystal.... 2005SUBMARINER Posted February 19, 2007 Report Share Posted February 19, 2007 wow thats some wierd stuff! all i can say all you 212 owners change the mineral crystal to sapphire ! i once had a spare sub sapphire crystal & decided to see how strong those things are made , & took a hammer to it ! took me 7 strikes to chatter the sapphire ! strong stuff! good luck ..
