Removing Strap/springbar

Alright, dumb newbie question - I had no problems removing a bracelet with a springbar tool but before I pop the leather strap on, how do I go about removing the springbars when the strap is on? There's no hole in the strap like there is for the bracelet. What am I missing here?

Hi,

you just use the spring bar tool to push the strap a little bit to the side and push the tool onto the spring bar. Straps are not that stif.
