jeff g
How about are buddy Levi Lipheimer?!!!! The guy, with the help of a super strong Discovery Channel team has led every single day of the Tour of California. Today he cemented his win of the event with the fastest individual Time Trial of the entire field, beating every single guy by 18 seconds! Of the top ten finishers, 5 were members of team Discovery. US Cycling has come a long way in the past few years. Although Lance is gone, Levi has stepped up big time to take his place. This could be the best year ever for American cycling on the Pro Tour. Got to love it!!!!!!!!!
Everythingape
And Landis might go free on a technicality.. Good or bad?
murphym
And Landis might go free on a technicality.. Good or bad? Yes North America cycling has come along way. I would like to believe that Landis is innocent but I don't know all the facts. But I do know one thing Lance is right that off the stupid baseball cap and glasses and look like a professional. jkerouac
I haven't been following the Tour de California, so I don't know who is competing. But isn't it a bit early in the season to be hailing Levi as the next coming of Lance, or even Landis. I know he's an excellent rider, and team Discovery is excellent as well, but it seems to me that there is going to be huge shakeup in the standings during the coming European cycling season. That's when we'll really find out who the new top dogs will be.

Is he even considered the team leader? I would think Ivan Basso would be more competitive during the Tour de France. Ive been an avid cyclist for the past few years. Its a great way to keep the weight down. Plus, my package in bike shorts is pretty awesome.
