XRT Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 I bought this watch from a member off TRC a couple of months ago. It came with a genuine Superdome installed. Great deal too! I had RBJ vintagize the case, drill out the lug holes, replace the movement with a slower beat ETA and a silver datewheel (while awaiting for the Watchmeister datewheel ) He repainted the dial markers...looks fantastic (very smooth and even) The insert was replaced with an aftermarket version and a genuine pearl was installed. thewightstuff Posted March 7, 2007 Report Share Posted March 7, 2007 (edited) im always just left thinking its a real shame that no one got it together enough to have the L centred properly or removed the word date from after "oyster perpetual" for the comex models. its a comex dial so its going to arouse real looks at the dial especially from anyone who knows what it is. they have aswell just spelled rolex incorrectly. the one thing is that most people arent rolex nerds and so it doesnt matter too much i suppose Edited March 10, 2007 by thewightstuff Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
