what kind of movement in vintage

Recommended Posts

hi

I wonder if it possible to swap my dead 6497 for another vintage movement in my 44mm luminor base Panerai. I read trought the forum there were many types of vintage movements such as angelus or cortebert. I wonder which one would easily fit into my watch without too many modifications

thanks

Both of those vintage movements are more expensive than a new watch. The Angelus, for instance, would be close to $2000 and still wouldn't fit.
