ettienne
The stem will occasionally pull right out of the watch when I pull it out to adjust...I press it back in and it catches...any idea why or how to fix? Watch has swiss 2836-2 movement. Edited March 7, 2007 by ettienne
andreww
You shouldn't just shove it in. You need to remove the back, and anti magnetic shield. Locate the tiny button near where the stem enters the movement. Use a small screwdriver to press the button, and gently insert the stem until it clicks in to place. It keeps popping out. Anyone else have this issue? Maybe the wrong stem....
RWG Technical
If it fits, you can wind the watch and change the time and date, it's the right stem. You have a problem either with the keyless works set lever pin, the keyless works itself, the movement mainplate hole for the stem (perhaps work out), or you may have a worn out or slightly too small stem. You have to find and correct which ever problem is causing this. RG
