Hi there I just ordered a yachtmaster got it today and it wasnt exactly what I was expecting. I wanted the rolesium but instead got a light beige kinda sparkly faced rolex. Its absolutely beautiful and the quality is amazing.

My question, did rolex ever make a beige faced yachtmaster that kinda looks sparkly?

My rolex looks alot like this, its a little more light beige and it has nicer markings but its not a platinum dial Ill try to take a photo of it.

That IS what the Rolesium Yacht-Master looks like. One would assume you knew what it looked like before you bought one... :p

1) Go to the Rolex site

2) Click on 'Collections'

3) Select 'Oyster Professional'

4) Select 'Yacht-Master' on the bottom... It's the first picture

Now go sit down and bask in the comfort of knowing that you (probably) bought one of the closer reps out there; I have one myself.

Good choice.

Take a picture and let's see it so we don't speculate about what you received

OK here we go, the photos dont do the watch justice, and I dont do the camera justice.

Im a terrible photographer and just could not for the life of me make it auto focus

close enough, or get nice lighting but you get the idea sort of of what I have and its colour.

Its a absolutely beautiful rep to look at especially under the lights or sun. Its really pretty,

kinda subtle bling.

I really love this watch and feel a lot better knowing that i have an accurate rep.

Any opinions? I looked at the rolex site and it appears to look like a grey dial not a beige dial

so I didnt know if rolex made a beige dial. Someone told me that the 2004 models

were beige dial, but anyways thanks I feel better knowing I have an accurate and

beautiful rep. Notice the markings on the back and the model number 116622 also stamped

on the band? Its a beautiful rep and better than many I see for sale in these forums but

all the same I was a little nervous about it because I'm not an expert.

I feel so much hapier now. Thanks for the feedback.

Looks right to me...

Go visit your local Rolex dealer and look at a YM. You'll see that your rep is spot on.

Enjoy

I'm not so sure... The Rolesium has been out for a while, and they had to take a couple of shots at the dial before they got it right. Mine is definitely more grey (like the Gen; I've had them side-by-side). If you really want to be positive, either get down to a dealer and have a look in person, or try to take some better photos and get in touch with Overboosted; he'll be able to tell you for sure.

Regardless, it's a nice watch.

This dial color does not look correct. The Rolesium face should be silver/grey.... These pictures look beige/brown...

If I could get my boss to part with his gen, I'd take a pic

again, should be sparkly greyish beige... (ie. more grey than beige) it should almost match the bezel insert color...

one of my co-workers has the same rep and another co-worker has gen so i see it all day... the rolesium rep dial is not as grey as the gen! more of a creamy color...

I'm looking at the hands and yes they are thinner and likely off a sub. I'm still doubtful of the colour. I cant seem to find anything that has this colour I guess the only way is a trip to the rolex dealer to see. I may end up selling it.. I found some photos of 2 gens that both have slightly different shades to their dials and mine still doesnt look like either.

mine is a tw and it is a light sandy beige. i went to my ad and they had three, mens, mid size and a ladies. all three were different colors. one was darker gray than mine, one was more silver than mine and one was exactly like mine. i have looked at many pics of gens and the color varies alot. rolex must have a very wide tolorance on the the color shade. i asked my ad why the color tolorance was so wide on these and they had no answer. imagine that. you would think that on a $8,000.00 watch that they would be more strict than that. i decided that mine would be just fine. it looks like the large pictures above.
