randstad
Hi After a quick browse on this thread Movement Check I wondered if it was possible to tell what movement I'm running with in my Sub "Ultimate". She only winds Clockwise but after numerous searches and now quite a distinct headache from searching hundreds of threads I can't find info on whether a Swiss ETA 2836-2 should wind in both directions.... If this question has been answered before I apologise but my god there are some threads on this board! RWG Technical
Are you confusing manual winding, with automatic rotor winding. No movement winds with the crown manually in both directions. Some automatic movements are bi-directional in winding. See my signature below, basics 101 and 102 should cover it, as well as the glossary. alwyn
20s a day isn't bad at all. Enjoy your watch. my 20s per day on this watch that has had a 120$ service is the worst timekeeper out of another five watches thay I have, and thes are on average 10s and these have not had the benifit of a service,so what is the point of having a service? THATS MY POINT! NOT JUST THE 20S+
