The cack
THink we'll ever see a rep of one of these??? I think I'd have to change my underwear if we did.... The HBB "Mag Bang". Magnesium case and bezel. Total Weight: 72 grams....That's Carzy!
yellomen
don't think it will be replicated... getting the case like this is probably really difficult if not impossible. But if they would get this done... :Jumpy:
uziuzi
Magnesium is due to its softness one of the hardest matrials to work with...
pv007
it should be nice if we culd have the Asian 7750 painted like this movement as they do when they paint it like gold ...

pv007
I'd prefer an all black. or all white. I meant it should be nice to have this movement painted like that for the HBB of course it won't be a nice paint for other brand...hehe
Guest TTK
The Big Bang ...regardless of finish is the giraffe of the horology world......designed by a committee who had no contact with each other.....and submitted it to the maker and told them just to get on with it.......it's a poor imitation of the AP Montoya....Jean Claude Biver simply plagiarised the design......look at the beautiful symmetry of the AP....the bezel bolts perfectly aligned.....then look at the Big Bang.....with the double slot screws ....all out pf alignment ....really bad design......then look at this Baume et Mercier.....with a completely integrated strap.....and gorgeous bas relief dial.......that's an example of beautiful detail that the BB lacks in every area....sorry....the BB's a lame duck.....! I dont like any of the three....but especially the AP...damn, what do you want to do with it ? Kill someone ? I bet if you have it on your wrist you cannot put your hand in your jeans pocket....unless you are wearing baggy jeans for 12 year olds...haha

jfreeman420
I always liked the Montoya. I thought I had read somewhere that the former head designer for AP who designed the Royal Oak was the guy who designed the Big Bang and that is why there are so many similiarities. Can someone confirm this? BTW, what is the name of the model of that Baume Mercier?
Usil
I used to burn magnesium strips in the lab. Catch that Big Bang on fire and it will be a shining star. Usil Edited April 2, 2007 by Usil
Guest overboosted
looks to me as they could make one out of the "titanium" that is on the IWC AMG watches. Has the same sandblasted look, and could visually pass as mag,,,,maybe
dadog13
the AP montoya is one great looking watch...saw different versions...but if that comes out...i'd give serious $$$ for it!
