They're actually a very legit and well respected movie prop house out of LA. They have many contracts to purchase bulk props from many different studios. And FWIW Hollywood has been using reps for years in movie production.

they very seldom use gens in films (that's why they're called props). Anyway, that is a legit seller of props from major film makers.

Bidders on that bought it not so much for the watch I'm sure, but for the prop factor and who wore it. I doubt it will see any wrist time. The same people sold a shirt that was wore in the Rocky Balboa movie that went for more than that watch.
