I thought the gen had brushed ends? This is also true on my UPO. Are both of these gens polished or brushed SS. It's an easy fix if brushed...........

I believe the edges on Seamaster Pro and Planet Oceans are in fact polished. But then again, I've seen a gen a few months ago and perhaps my memory is betraying me.
omega1 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 The gen SMP (2531.80.00) has the sides brushed. My rep SMP also came with polished edges. Just use a scotch brite pad and you will be fine.
