  1. I don't think it's gen. The 12 triangle is misaligned. A groove should be exactly in the middle of the indicator and it's clearly off-center. Also, I believe that the red meets the blue between 1 and 8, not 1/3rd through the 8.
  2. Perhaps it's an ignorant question. Where do you guys get your 3717s? I've checked a few known places and did not see them anywhere.
  3. I"ve got an email yesterday with my tracking number. I'll let you know when it arrives.
  4. I've got a question to all of you familiar with a genuine Ingenieur. The ones with a strap come with a regular buckle but there is a version of the strap - Andrew for example - that comes with a clasp. Which should it be?
  5. Got mine today. It's pretty. Thanks lello!
  6. Oh my oh my! Perhaps new crowns will appear soon? I'd love to take a SS and a Ti crown for 6497, manual wind.
  7. Strange how the lume comes out blue on nearly every picture but then turns out to be green. Incorrect white balance, perhaps?
  8. Do you still plan on printing Panerai wheels for 7750?
  9. The movement has no swan neck and the Officine Panerai seems to be painted instead of engraved. Perhaps it's just the way it came out on the photo. Short cannon pin and white dial fonts - fixable. Luminor Marinas are beautiful, legendary watches. Sadly, they all require a few mods.
  10. Fantasic watch! It reminds me a bit of Baume & Mercier Capeland (black and orange edition). My coworker's got one and I like it a lot!
  11. Since you have the genuine dial, you'll be able to answer my question. Are the lume markers on the dial varnished (shiny) or not? I've got Tourneau nearby but I feel too lazy to go out today.
  12. I've never photographed watches but I get into "street photography" once in a while. On the DSLR I use Canon 30D with EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS and 70-300mm IS, and on the rangefinder side Leica M7 with 35mm F/2 aspherical and 50mm f/2 lenses. I've had only one comment on the Canon and many on the Leica. Although, most ignorant people assume it's some vintage camera.
  13. Sorry to be off-topic. I see it's 7753. Is that the default datewheel or you've changed it?
  14. It's truly marvelous, indeed. In fact, it's so great that buying gen dial for over $100 seems like a waste of your art. I wonder how "addable" that missing rectalgle could be.
  15. I was about to say the same! Perhaps after Johnny Depp and Jack Sparrow men with eyeliner are acceptable.
  16. And I can say something about the banning questions that The Zigmeister has posted. I used to mod a fairly large forum and admin a couple of others. To make the story short, I've had fairly decent exposure to the forum and portal software packages and unless something changed in the last two years, the software behind forums doesn't really offer any way to effectively ban someone who doesn't want to get banned. Admins have access to a few extra hidden profile details, and can see our IPs but that's generally it. As long as one re-registers with an email that wasn't previously used and logs from another location / releases and renews WAN interface DHCP settings, the forum software assumes it is a brand new person.
  17. That's correct. And the more advanced models do not have the honeycomb translucent back.
  18. We have had a few posts drooling over the Scuderia Chrono (FER0008) but what about Granturismo Chrono (FER0004)? How these compare to their genuine counterparts?
  19. Gents, The board consensus is that the Luminors are somewhat 80% C1 and 20% C3. What would you say about Fiddy. What shade is that?
  20. Gents, Is it safe to assume that I could use the same wheel on TAG Link Chrono?
