rower Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I spent considerable time at an AD today with a GMT with solid end links. I have a few reps with the sel and they don't even come close to the gen. The rep sits a lot higher off of the center link. The gen is very close and smooth to the center link. Has anyone else notice this? Is there a rep that comes closer to the gen? Furthermore, I have one gmt rep that has a very smooth click to the bezel and the other clicks like a cheep replica. Is there a way to modify it to have that rich click to bezel? Thank you in advance for any assistance, suggestions or comments. Steve
ubiquitous Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 One other thing to note about the SELs is how sharp and crisp the edges on the gen are 'cut'...
Raijor Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Compared to a rep - only a gen will offer perfection. Reps are made to meet the "good enough" standard.
