maxmsu
Just saw this, before I pull the trigger, want to know what you OM PO experts think about this: KING'S NEW PO
cwai02
The clasp is missing "Professional" engraving. Andrew's PO has a more accurate bezel. "Planet Ocean" engraving on the back cover should be a larger P and O. Edited April 9, 2006 by cwai02

"Planet Ocean" engraving on the back cover should be a larger P and O. Hers is a 42 mm version. "Professional" is engraved on the 45 mm version. The Omega logo on the dial is a way off. The serial number (or whatever it is) is not centered on the bracelet. Edited April 9, 2006 by eLiNK
cwai02
ar, you re right. I thought king is selling the 45mm version.
bigpops
Looks identical to Joshua's to me. The numbers are too large, the Omega symbol is printed when it should be a chrome part. Other than that, it's pretty good. I still think Andrew's is better, but i could be biased, as i have that one.
cwai02
I am confused. lol King says 42MM for the orange and 40MM for the black in her TRC threads. I emailed her inquiring the black one and she said 45MM including crown. Edited April 9, 2006 by cwai02
eLiNK
I emailed her inquiring the black one and she said 45MM including crown. That makes 42 mm w/o crown. Don't see any reason why they would produce different sizes based on the color.
Richard Tracy
I like the metal rims around her markers,.. they look the most accurate to me.. also did you notice the leather strap with the logo deployant ? Never saw that before...

ryaku
I wish we could see a review very soon of King's Planet Ocean. I'd like to read opinions about the logo, it doesn't seem like the genuine. Price is really good (Andrew's sells his PO at 270$ without additional bracelet). eLiNK
Has someone asked king whether the OMEGA logo on the dial is printed or in chrom? The close-ups are not good enough. My impression is that the Trusty's version is overall more precise. At least, as far as the exteriour looks are concerned. But the logo placement is a real eyesore, from my point of view. Yes you're right: Trusty's PO has two main flaw - logo position - plastic ring for the movement Also, it's pretty dear.

Obvious question would be if it is possible to get rid of the flaws at reasonable price. Is Omega's dial available? Would it fit in the watch? Anyone? Would it fit in the watch? Anyone? No, i'm afraid not at reasonable price. Planet ocean's dial is not easy to find and it's not very cheap. Would it fit? I dunno, there are different versions of PO replica so it's a bit risky.

watcher71
I would like to get a PO and I now see that "replica-zone" is offering his/her ETA PO for what seems like too little money in light of the description. SEE LINK --> http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=2476 Anyway, I am a bit skeptical of new dealers, so, to all the PO experts, is replica-zone's version really the better/perfect version (lol, I cant believe he said "perfect")? If so, I will have the pull the trigger and become a test subject for our new dealer...

As I understood, the version he's offering for $150 doesn't have a sapphire glass. There's an option to buy the watch with sapphire glass but that means the glass probably doesn't have AR coating. Flaws that I can see on his version "HE" value - Bold font RIM and color on Bezel "Planet Ocean" Engraving on the back. It should be a larger P and O. Crown is too small. Wrong Bracelet. No sapphire glass. Edited April 10, 2006 by cwai02
watcher71
thanks all. I guess replica-zone's is far from "perfect" then.

ryaku
Looks identical to Joshua's to me. No, i don't think so. H valve in Joshua's seems lower and logos are different. I prefer King's. Does anyone want to be a tester? I am confused. lol King says 42MM for the orange and 40MM for the black in her TRC threads. I emailed her inquiring the black one and she said 45MM including crown. What a mess!! I'm interested in the black bezel but 45mm it's too large for me. I wonder what's the right total diameter of the genuine PO.
