Stem removal on an asian auto

I need to move the movement from an old Arktos case to a new one due to the markers falling off as has been the case recently. I have the entire watch stripped down and the only thing keeping the movement in place is where the stem is attached to the crown. Can anyone tell me how to seperate these two pieces so I can remove the movement from the watch? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

That is essentially what I'm asking. Any thoughts?

Either way is fine, I just can't get it out either way right now for fear of breaking it.

red big joe and the thumb of pain came to the rescue. Couldn't have been a nicer guy. Sent me a PM with quick instructions and out it came.
