woody
So, I was just browsing on the "hay" and was looking at some ETA 7750 for some possible projects. I found this seller, selling used stock of 7750, but as a 17 jewel movement. To my knowledge, the 7750 has always been a 25 jewel movement, so I wanted to know, am I missing something? Is there some sort of different variations of the 7750s floating around, or is the 17 jewel just happens to be older version of the 7750? I even saw one of our fellow member that bought a movement from this seller. If any one that is equipped with such movement knowledge, please let me know what the heck is going on with the difference on 17 vs 25 jewels. Thank you. Chronus
Older movement. Valjoux is the brand that was bought by ETA and produced the 7750 movement. They are all now ETA 7750 movements produced by ETA,
woody
Chronus, so the 17 jewel one is just a older 7750 variant is that correct? Also, does the 17 jewel also beat at 28800? was wondering if you would know about something about that.
