SenileCoot
I've got a question to all of you familiar with a genuine Ingenieur. The ones with a strap come with a regular buckle but there is a version of the strap - Andrew for example - that comes with a clasp. Which should it be? fitmic
I'm pretty sure it is a clasp!
eunomians
Both. It is up to you. Some folks swear by the deployment. Others swear at them (skin pinchers).
chad
Just received a deployment as a replacement for a bad buckle watch...... the clasp is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Pretty much unwearable. eunomians
I am sure that Chad is experiencing the agony of the clasp digging into the side of his wrist. If you don't have wrists larger than 7.25", the deployment buckle will be very uncomfortable. IWC designed a terrible deployment. And by the way, who puts on a strap the opposite way with the short side @ 6 so that the deployment markings are facing the right way? Not me, not you, nor really anybody for that matter! IWC really fouled up on this one. The rep deployment is the same as OEM design-wise: annoying. Anyhow, I think y'all get my point: stay away from the deployment.
