Tjabo
I love my "Latest Version" PO I got from Silix several months ago, but the one problem I've had is that the pearl fell out of the insert. Silix was kind enough to send me a free bezel insert, but I'm a little apprehensive about replacing the whole insert on this beautiful watch, and I was thinking maybe I could just pop the pearl out of the new insert and glue it into the insert on my watch. Any thoughts? I read the main threads on what glue to use, and that only helped me a little since there seems to be a fair amount of variance in the suggested techniques and materials. Thanks in advance!
Tjabo
Thoughts anyone? ? ? Would a picture, or measurement of the I.D. of the hole left in the bezel insert help? My current bezel insert is positioned properly and is still in good shape, so I kind of hate to pull it off and replace it if it isn't necessary. Thanks! watchman12345
If the new insert is ok then its much easier pop out the old insert by sticking a screwdriver in the hole of the old pearl. Glue on your new insert and your sorted. Its really very easy. The pearl is very small and quite hard to glue in nicely on its own.
who
I'm not too sure if Silix's PO (45mm) share the same structure like other u.PO out there. On some watches, the pearl is part of the insert but on my u.po (from joshna) the pearl is part of the bezel and it is not easy to remove it anyway....check out this link...a mod done by Vaccum, it may give you some idea how the pearl is looks like. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...21610&hl=po good luck
