As much as I like reps and frankens, I love antique timepieces even more. Each to his own but I think it would have been a real shame if you tore out this movement to build a Franken or have the movement altered for some other creation. Glad you are not I would love to see the process/results of the restoration, please post if you have the time and means. Good luck on the project!
