Moppel Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 Hi folks, since I like to swap bracelets/straps on my watches from time to time, I sometimes find it rather difficult using a simple spring bar tool. Especially on my SMP Chrono. So I was looking for some kind of double-sided tool, but these are just too expensive. That's why I came up with a simple idea: why not taking a pair of tweezers and modify them? So I used a grinder and a triangular file to give it the right shape. This is the final shape Doesn't quite look like a professional tool, though. But it works and the price was reasonable. Well, at least until my girlfriend starts to miss the pair of tweezers Thanks for reading. Cheers Moppel
NAVIGATER Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 Greta tool you made i would say it is semi professionel. But i think it is better than this one

Jumbie Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Can you PM me where you got the tweezers and the file from and how much they were? Great idea BTW.
