buckeye Posted April 16, 2006 Report Share Posted April 16, 2006 I recently purchased a Ralex Rolesium with the new chinese movement (red/pink gear). When the watch arrived and I attempted to set the date and time, the crown with a portion of the stem pulled completely out. I got the back off, and was able to get the other part of the stem out.....here are my questions: 1) is there a source for a new crown and stem? 2) would I be better off replacing the movement with the 2836? This is not the greatest rep in the world, so if it get's expensive...I'll just get one from a dealer... 3) source and cost of the movement? If I don't really know what I'm doing should I even tackle this? BTW...I did write the dealer, but thus far no response...and he did give me a really good price as part of a package deal, so I'm not really expecting much (if anything) from him..... if all else fails, I could make it a very small planter.... jeff Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
