Greystash Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 Hey Guys, Surely this is a photoshoped Gen....right? Looks to me like the CG's are just, too perfect. Out of curiosity I asked the French seller point-blank, is this a picture of the item. Here was the response.
By-Tor Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 (edited) That picture is definitely of a gen... and has been stolen from John Holmbrook. Here's the URL of the original pic: http://rolexreferencepage.com/Images/rolex...ectionaFULL.jpg The guy who's selling the watch is obviously a shitbag scammer. Beware! Edited June 2, 2007 by By-Tor

Greystash Posted June 2, 2007 Author Report Posted June 2, 2007 This site is all about spreading knowledge about watches. The people here are gooooooooooooood. No detail is too small to be overlooked and no reference too obscure. Well done! Another one bites the dust. @Greystash, read everything you can find here. Information is what you need. Oh, and BTW ... welcome! Thanks for the welcome there Nanuq. Yes, just testing my own eye for the subs, from what I have already learned.
Greystash Posted June 3, 2007 Author Report Posted June 3, 2007 Guys is this the only way people can manage to sell reps on the Bay? I don't have clue about PAMS....is this a gen or a rep with the name blurred out? Just trying to get my head around whats happening out there.

Greystash Posted June 3, 2007 Author Report Posted June 3, 2007 The trouble is; as with the above sub, the sellers are holding up gens as the quality of the reps they are selling. One really has to know the difference. Well that's what seems to be happening in my view.
