7750b1 vs 21J

I want to buy the PAM092 Arktos and a dealer from this forum has 2 versions. One with 21J movement and the other with 7750b1. I heard that the 7750 is all about unreliability (especially the old ones) but I cant find any review on the 21J movement. Can some expert from here tell me which is more reliable? <_<

A 7750 with the chrono hands missing is still a (dodgy) 7750 and is ultimately an asia rep of an ETA movement.

The 21J auto being currently fitted to the Pannys is not the usual Miyota copy but in fact a derivative of the ETA 2892 which is a less complicated yet more sophistcated design. The one in my 090 runs +4 secs. fast a day with no regulation!!

What r11co said. My experience mimics his exactly. Went through 3 7750b1 PAM O51's before finding one that would "take" an overhaul and work fine, and i have of the asian 2892 copies which run around +/- 5 secs a day or less w/o having been serviced.
