chubbchubb
A couple of weeks ago, I ordered the 007 PO with additional waterproofing that Silix had posted. I found the original rubber strap (of which I ordered an extra one for my PO Chrono) to be less than perfect (to put it nicely). Silix have been very helpful and two replacement straps are on their way. In the meantime, I tried another strap for the PO: The Hirsch Leonardo Mobile in black rubbber. This series is relatively new and comes in croc, croc-print, calf, shark and rubber. Rubber retail in EU is a little more than the Silix rubber strap (€ 39). It is easier to fit and does not turn out, even on thin springbars, because it features a tube system (similar to PAM) for the springbar. On the wrist, it feels more like a leather strap and does not pull your hair like other rubber straps do. I think it's worth the money and this is how it looks on the PO:
b16a2
Looks good! Don't suppose you have a spare rubber strap that you'd want to sell?
chubbchubb
Looks good! Don't suppose you have a spare rubber strap that you'd want to sell? Nope... the two I have are kaputt... and the replacements (in transit) will be fitted....
Mickey Padge
I have the brown leather version of this strap on my brown Tag Carrera and it looks fantastic! Really gives new life to the watch. I highly recommend these straps too, very comfortable indeed
