mysql Posted April 22, 2006 Report Share Posted April 22, 2006 hmmm, I decided over a year ago to get the sidekick2. No phone plan, pay as I go. That means they charge me $1 per day. In return I get unlimited internet access (aim, yahoo im, 3 pop3 accounts, web access, ssh2, etc). I can use it as a phone, that costs $0.10 a minute though. You'll be checking your mail every 30 seconds and won't be able to be away from it for more than a few minutes at a time. Before long, you realise sleep is for the weak that don't get mail and you're looking for the waterproof version so you can start taking showers again. I can even search for contacts from the corporate address book and call up their free/meeting schedules in order to schedule meetings right from the phone.
