But is it all? Will I be able to clean the oil out of it? Please tell me how to do it properly as I plan to try it on my 40 mm PAM bracelets tonight. Cheers! JJFlash Posted April 25, 2006 Report Share Posted April 25, 2006 I use silicon spray. Toss the bracelet in a plastic baggy and spray her down. Let it sit overnight, occasionally turning the bag to distribute lubricant around. Next day wipe it off with paper towel. Washing will just remove the lubricant you put on. Next step - complete the polishing. Some guys use oil; motor, penetrating, WD-40, etc. I prefer the silicon based lubricants myself. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

krustybrand Posted April 25, 2006 Report Share Posted April 25, 2006 I use a pinpoint oiler filled with some light machine oil and apply a bit to each pivot point. I then work it in for a while then repeat. After that, I use some liquid soap and warm water to remove the excess oil. If you must, use a dry teflon lube with a liquid carrier that evaporates and leaves the teflon behind.
