PVD on B&R rubber strap doesn't match the watch

I just picked up the rubber strap for a Bell & Ross 46mm rep. What's weird, is the PVD coating on the buckle doesn't match the PVD on the watch at all. It's very matte, while the finish on the watch itself is somewhat reflectant.

Anyone else notice this, or do the newer B&R reps have a finish closer to the buckle? (i.e. very, very matte)

Same problem, mate, mine doesn't match either. But I think the bigger issue is I find the rubber strap extremely stiff and uncomfortable. Unlike the Panerai rubber straps which wrap nicely round your wrist.

Even slightly bigger issue, my B&R is known to stop on its own even when I'm wearing it. Aaargh! I think the movement's slightly screwed. Let me know if yours have the same issue.

The 'stop on its own' might be just a caliber off-beat. Take it to a watchsmith or see some of the posts in the watch repair section for a DIY solution :)... sorry for the off topic..

I have a rep rubber strap on a pan196 that is hard as 10 years old tupperware. My omega PO, in contrast, is silky soft. Guess I will not be getting the 'ruber strap' if I order a B&R... off topic again.. :)

Sorry, no experience with pdv'd bR's. :)
