panerai22 Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 I just picked up the rubber strap for a Bell & Ross 46mm rep. What's weird, is the PVD coating on the buckle doesn't match the PVD on the watch at all. It's very matte, while the finish on the watch itself is somewhat reflectant. Anyone else notice this, or do the newer B&R reps have a finish closer to the buckle? (i.e. very, very matte)

But I think the bigger issue is I find the rubber strap extremely stiff and uncomfortable. Unlike the Panerai rubber straps which wrap nicely round your wrist. Even slightly bigger issue, my B&R is known to stop on its own even when I'm wearing it. Aaargh! I think the movement's slightly screwed. Let me know if yours have the same issue.

Take it to a watchsmith or see some of the posts in the watch repair section for a DIY solution ... sorry for the off topic.. I have a rep rubber strap on a pan196 that is hard as 10 years old tupperware. My omega PO, in contrast, is silky soft. Guess I will not be getting the 'ruber strap' if I order a B&R... off topic again.. Sorry, no experience with pdv'd bR's.
cypher Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Does anyone know where to get a gen rubber strap and how much it costs?
