V Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 A couple of weeks ago my 212 with Asian 7750 stopped reseting to 0 and it constantly resets to 2. Probably a gear has moved or something? How easy is tho fix this? I have heard of Asian 7750 reseting everytime to different number but mine always was reseting to 0 and now to 2... Any help on this?

If the chrono functions normally otherwise then most likely the hand is slipping on the hand tube. The Zigmeister has a post somewhere about how to fix it on the 196/188 models where this was a known problem. I use an Araldite epoxy resin (metal bond) product to fix them.

Yeah.. blah blah blah... since you know how to fix it I don't care.. I will send it to you to take care of it
Rolexman Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 It's really easy. Just uncase the movement (explained in one of The Zigmeister's tutorials) and gently push the hand back in the 12 o clock position (after the watch has been reseted). After this use a small needle point of epoxy to secure it.
