Febus
An obvious and simple question this one I am sure however before I start forcing things and screwing the watch up I thought I'd ask here. I have a Planet Ocean 6th Generation (I think, it was bought December 2006) which was sold to me as having an ETA movement in it. I'd like to check that it does before I sell it here on RWG. So can anyone tell me how to remove it- it looks to me as if it will just twist/screw out but before I go and wreck it some confirmation would be nice. It just sits there, to be honest. No screwing or glue.
RWG Technical
It is simply pushed in place over the spacer ring...some are tight, some loose... You can get it off by using a screwdriver and finding a small gap, and lifting it off. I work the screwdriver around the cover and it comes off no problem... FxrAndy
Take care mine was tight and started to pull the movement holder with it. Work it off slowly all the way a round.
