jitensyaotaku
I got my first rep today and quite thrilled with the quality of it. So far, only thing that is a little disappointing is the function of the chrono buttons. The Start / Stop one is a bit clunky to push in... The Reset button works just fine. Anyone know of a way to improve a not-so-good chrono button?
Amplitude
It isn't the button, it's the movement. Improper assy. and lube makes it feel clunky and harsh, and if it feels that way, you'll eventually mess some parts up using it. It should feel positive and fairly smooth. Anyone know of a way to improve a not-so-good chrono button? It's a "feature" of the movement, not related to TAG. Even Swiss 7750 is not much better in that aspect. I was to TAG AD once and tried on Carrera Chrono - Start/Stop button was equally hard to press like on my rep with A7750. regards
slickdick
Z3ko is right, It's al mechanical watch, you have to engage the crhono with some force, it is not like pushing electronic button on quartz watch...
jitensyaotaku
ok, cool, thanks for the replies to my n00b questions ... Managed to resize it tonight and fits like a glove. Wife keeps asking me if I blew $2800 on gen haha. She is from HK and still is having trouble believing me that it's a rep lmao. Fits me perfect after removing two links and totally looks the business.
