Do they share the same date wheel font?!?!

I'm sure there are quality differences!

I still plan on buying the 2824... But, maybe i will buy another (with 2813) in different dial colors to see which i like better...

Which would you guys buy? Black or White? (Sorry, not interested in the blue!!)

yeah, the white does look both ways... that brown strap sets it off too...

anyone figure out if the datewheel is the same? and yes, i have contacted the dealers with no reply yet...

White seems to be the most popular color but black is coming on strong. The date wheels are completely different. The asia version has the incorrect font. The swiss is correct. I would recommend spending the extra dough on the swiss. They share the same case and bracelet but the eta movement and sapphire with ar should be reason enough.

what is the original movement used in the gen?!?!

I forget what breitling call it but base is 2824/2 so it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo close to the gen

Gen movement is classed as Breitling 17, so if you got a well finished 2824 and the correct rotor so it looked like below you could have almost a very good franken.
