a german in denmark
I just got my strap from TSS today. It's very light, black polyurethane (PU). It is a real pain in the behind to shorten, as you have to take out a pin-lock thingy that's difficult to grip. My usual tools for strap-work couldn't do the job. I ended up with several bended tools and pins. The pin is hollow and the lock-thingy has a hole through it. But no way could I push the pin out, so I used pliers to pull the lock out first and then the pin. It's on my wrist now, it's looking good and very comfortable. But it's not rubber, it's a bit too thin and doesn't feel "heavy" enough. I think I would like the Oyster-Rubber more..... Cheers, Volker
Ben
thanks for the info Volker! BTW my strap arrived today but the spring bars included are too thin and slightly too short to hold the strap in place so my other option is the spring bars that were from the watch itself but it looks as if its going to be a tight squeeze and im concerned that i might not be able to get the fat spring bars out of my rubber strap, if anyone has any ideas or a solution help would be appreciated! I used the monster's spring bars, no problem to pull them out of the gen rubber strap and into the new one.....
