MikeC65
ok, thanks to the wonderful Lord & Taylor going out of business sale, I have acquired a brand new Tag Heuer Aquaracer automatic chrono (model #CAF2112.) Tag Heuer Aquaracer The movement is Tag Heuer Calibre 16. My question is this: I keep reading about how properly maintaining the Asian 7750 chrono movements entails getting them serviced immediately. Is it at all necessary or helpful to do anything similar with a gen watch? And if not, how long can it go before I have some kind of maintenance performed? First: Congrats, that's definitely my #1 favourite TAG. You certainly don't have to service your genuine TAG in a few years. Genuine watches should always come properly lubricated and regulated. If you experience any problems there's always the warranty. This is one of the reasons why you're paying premium for the gen quality. Just enjoy the beauty. That's a great watch choice.
