fitmic
I am sooooo annoyed that many replicas have a wrong looking pearl at the bezel. I know that a lot of newer reps are quite close to the original, or already spot on. Is it really that hard to replicate the pearl? IMHO the pearl is first what indicates if it's a gen piece or rep. Or is it just me?

retep
Is it really that hard to replicate the pearl? You can do it yourself if you`re very handy and have the right tools. Member Veloci did it once and his result was stunning. He wrote a tutorial about it which you can read Here Hope it helps!

I can't even assemble a piece of IKEA furniture, I almost fail to change light bulbs! Edited May 9, 2006 by fitmic
retep
The same here but if you find the pearl that important you can ask Veloci in a pm. I believe he did sell a few.
cosmosblau
You would think they could easily get this right!
fitmic
If I get my hands on a gen PO bezel, what are the possibilities that it actually would fit a rep? Or should I go out looking for new friends among the watch repair men?
retep
If I get my hands on a gen PO bezel, what are the possibilities that it actually would fit a rep? The first generation po`s where not the same size as the originals so that will not fit i guess. The 4th gen po is the same size as original (i believe) but did not read anything about interchanging parts. You like to be the first and report back to us? Or should I go out looking for new friends among the watch repair men? That is always a good idea! Edited May 9, 2006 by retep
