sydneysider
hey guys, I am such an idiot! The bezel fell off my vintage GMT (the one TTK has on offer now, bought it in BKK, can only recommend it!mine does however have the adjustable GMT hand.) and i tried to glue it back with normal superglue! now, the bezel is higher on one side, as more glue there than on the other side. AND even worse, glue got on the plastic glass and it looks a mess. can anyone suggest how to get it off without scratching the glass?(even more....!) cheers, Robbie
Rolexman
Try some paint thinner??!! .... It will probably mess up the insert too?! Edited May 11, 2006 by Rolexman
GhostfaceZX
If your crystal is sapphire, you can use a knife blade to scrape it off. Or maybe even try something hard and plastic - super glue doesn't stick well to glass.
sydneysider
the "glass" is in fact plastic, so its stuck on there pretty badly! paint thinner might be the last resort!
