ravishingrick
Just finished upgrading to a better CG on my already upgraded PAM 118... After searching for ages for a good CG I finally came up with a satisfying result. I had purchased a 036 crown guard from another member that did not fit due to a short lever (open flinging lever syndrome) but the overall finish, thickness and shape of the crown guard was perfect.. I decided to take a chance and see if my Jimmyfzu brushed SS lever that came with a polished SS CG would fit and look well. After about an hour of work sanding the donor lever to fit, fitting the lever, sanding the CG to remove scratches, coloring the TI CG with heat to match the case I think I have hit gold, I am very happy with the results. Furher upgrades: Relume with Super Luminova (The ZigmeisterZumba) Extended Cannon Pinion (The ZigmeisterZumba) 036 Crown Guard. Jimmyfzu Crown Guard Lever. OEM Antique Brown Gator strap. OEM Honey Brown Gator Strap. I hope to upgrade the Crown in the future to a Palpatine crown, if he can deliver.. Here' s the Pics... Enjoy.... ravishingrick
Nice work on the CG. That's the same solution I arrived at a few months ago: Jimmy Fu's Lever on a 118 @Avitt Thanks for sharing your wonderful post! I had not seen this post before, but I did read about your lever upgrade for TI CG's in other posts. Without your contribution I would still be on my quest for damn good TI CG.. which are virtually impossible to find... Thanks again for the tip! @ All others thanks for your compliments and kind words!!!
LeGambleur
Sitting here with my 118, only upgraded with a new strap feeling like poor white trash... I look at my watch feelling like something is missing. Better grab another beer...
