Guest shutter_bug Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 My grandfather gave me this watch. I have had it twenty-six years and have done nothing, in way of repairs, to it. It still keeps perfect time.

dadog13 Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 26 yes without any kind of servicing?!!! even if everything works well,ci think that a little service could be donr...and must be done
Richard Tracy Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Brings back memories,... The Old flex-i-bands.. which were so very comfortable back in the day.. I wish they would make an updated version of them,... the bands we have today, know nothing about forming to the shape of any individual wrist, and keeping a watch, exactly where you wanted it to sit,... like these funny looking bands of the past... I know that hair could be a problem, but the gentle grip of them, was nice feeling...
By-Tor Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Grandfather watches are always priceless. Here's mine (Choisi Montreux). It's very rare model. The factory offered to fix and service it without a charge and wanted to take pics of it for their watch museum. Haven't send it yet.

I do not want to even guess how much it is worth.
bres3000 Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 What a BEAUTY! After yoo have it serviced, you should put it on a leather strap.
groobash Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 That's quite [censored]ish. I remember when gold nugget style was so hip.
