iluvspl
Hey everyone i was just curious if anyone has tested a Panerai 187 or Breitling Bentley 30's for water resistance in a swimming pool type enviroment. I just want to be able to swim with these in just a few feet of water no more than 9 feet deep. I do not have the tools to pressure test them and was curious if anyone has or has input if these 2 watches will have problems with the water. Thanks for the help everyone. Highflyingclive
Get the watch pressure tested before you get it wet. Even Patek tell their customers to have this done annually. It needs to pass 5 atmospheres to be safe in a pool. This topic is one of the most discussed on this or any other board. You'll find plenty of information in the archives. ryyannon
Just don't stay underwater for more than five minutes... Edit for clarity: holding your breath.
movingshadow
well my mbw drsd was submerged for the first time in ages yesterday by accident... forgot to take it off while swimming with the miss.... and it held up just fine.... please consider that this watch has o-rings all around and was "designed" for "underwater play"... usually I take it off even in the shower.... just my 2 cents.... Stephane
Why would you take the risk with your reps ? Buy a black monster, a Tissot or even easier & cheaper, a Swatch. Cheers Stephane
andreww
Buy an Ultimate Planet Ocean Lite or and Asian SFSO. Insanely cheap and almost always waterproof!
