PAN Vintage Strap

Recommended Posts

Yeah this is an great manual... and it's very easy to do... the only thing i dislike is the smelling of the cleaning agent... it will stay in the bath for days... so better go out and do it there... after vintage the strap use claer water to remove the cleaning agent...

Just an additional tip:

1. let the strap dry very slowly don't use any hair dryer or similar like i did it the first time... result: the strap will shrink a few mm... especially the width...

I did it with one of my older straps. Though I wouldnt do it again, because the strap smells like bleach (chlor) and shrunk about 3mm in lugsize. (even though I did NOT blow-dry it)

also, I couldnt wash all the color out of the strap so I now fear, that if I ever sweat with that watch on my wrist or walk through the rain or whatsoever, my sleve will end up having a brownish color!

Really? Had no problems with my straps... only the first one shrinked 1 to 1,5 mm...
