I read a thread in this forum that suggests that for the Rolex models, Two Tone wear better than All Gold. Is this a generally held fact? And how much wear can on expect, for instance, how long before the gold in the all gold model begins to flake off?

I think the majority of folks here will tell you to go with all stainless on the reps cause the gold plating is not all that great.... However.... I think one of our dealers is selling TT models with solid gold midlinks on the bracelet that should last for..... Well as long as you own the watch...
