Help Needed With Rolex Crown

Hi all, I need some help here.

The crown on my Rolex Chrono has come off the stem. I have done some searching as to how it fixes back but cannot find a satisfactory answer. Most threads say that the crown screws on to the stem but as can be seen in my picture there is no thread to screw onto.

Has the stem snapped inside the crown or does it fit in some other way? The movement is the older asian 7750.

I have found a link to a watch suppliers, Cousins Material House. Here it's possible to get replacement crowns and stem extensions but I cannot figure out the type or size that I need.

Any help or suggestions will be gratefully received.
