pitimany Posted August 27, 2007 Report Posted August 27, 2007 Do you which GMT model is this ? How can i clean the dial without damaging it ?
FxrAndy Posted August 27, 2007 Report Posted August 27, 2007 If that is real send it to a good professional!
tmg Posted August 27, 2007 Report Posted August 27, 2007 Hi P. I think a 6542 and it looks like it's been redialed already. Unfortunately I have no advice on a safe way to clean it.
docblackrock Posted August 27, 2007 Report Posted August 27, 2007 This type of dial was used in both 1675 and 6542 around the mid '60s. I hate to say it but it's a really bad redial and will need more than a clean-up. If you've not bought it already, then save your money.
pitimany Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 Thank for the info. I already got it. another project. P
Saabin Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 If it has pins on the back then it is a 1675 dial. If it has a ring around the back and no pins then it is a 6542 dial.
