Lyndonville
On Page 113 of this issue it shows the "new" Timex issue of their new line of "automatics." I find this interesting for two reasons. One, it's not made by Timex, and, two, why doesn't WatchTime magazine give credit to Sea Gull watches. The "new" Timex was produced by Sea Gull. No one told me this other than a photograph of a Sea Gull I purchased for less than $250.00. I'm going to research this until I can find a selling price for this "new" Timex. I don't have a scanner at home so I can't show those who do not subscribe to the magazine what it looks like - the Timex. But, for those who do get it take a look and then take another look at this photograph below Tim PS: I found a photo of the Timex after I posted this. rckh
Correct me if I wrong: It's just "open-Heart" rather than real Tourbillion", Is that right?
Corgi
Correct, its a "retrogating" tourbillon - just an exposed flywheel. Joshua has a few for $98, Narikaa even less. I got one from the latter in Vacheron Constantin incarnation and it looks spectacular. A simple but lovely complication if appropriately placed and decorated. section8
I saw this but didn't notice the Sea Gull. I'll have to look more closely at it when i get home.
