Magagne is absolutely right.

Clear water and a very small quantity of soap softly brushed letting it dry at room temperature.

A bit of body-milk or NIVEA after will take it back to a nice condition.

Great replies, what's the best way to condition older or cheaper leather? I've heard that mink oil works well, but read elsewhere that it cloggs the pores of the leather (whatever that means) and actually causes the leather to dry out. Thoughts?

I have used COACH lesther treatment kit. It seems to leave the leather soft and plush. It also moistens the leather and the stiching and prevents it from drying out. I feel if a comapny like COACH puts out a product for cleaning their bags, wallets and shoes then it must be good.

Side note: I use this product on all of my leather goods and had great results. Brings back all my leather shoes to new. One tip if you use this product for your shoes use a fine horse hair brush to buff to a lovely luster. What I fine so great is I never have to use wax or any other product for my shoes.

COACH CLEANER & MOISTURIZER Specially formulated to condition and restore natural leather products.

Use Coach Cleaner on:
