  1. I think I'm doing a relapse about watch addiction guys the Mark XVIII catch my eyes like hell, this XVII is awsome too.Don't want to hijack the post of Ayr, but, if I'm correct, the XVIII is a 40mm and the XVII a 41mm for gen one, can we confirm this on rep too, cuz there's some contradiction on dealer ads, and, base on the above pic, it look's like the AR is little weak , is it a double side AR?
  2. finally!!! screw pin on bracelet !!!!!! a lot easier to adjust than the current @*&#@ pin on omega bracelet.
  3. My beater one...Luminox 3001 on a TWB buffalo strap
  4. "Déjà vue" ... counterfiet exist and will continue to exist. It's like trying to stop the wind... useless.
  5. New acquisition...still not have time to clean it, I took my camera to shoot it right away... For purist, is not the "best" rep (have some flaws, fat hand hour, etc.) all sub ceramic have flaws anyway, you need to live with it, or skip it. But his watch have a great presence. Can,t go wrong with a sub anyway. A classic Best edition from PureTime if you ask. V serial no, 316F.
  6. It look silly on her skinny wrist. "Trop c'est comme pas assez". I don't know what is the equivalent in english, but it can be "too much is as bad as not enough" or "Don't over do it".
  7. Thanks Ronin for this precision. If you ask me to choose a rep between the too "light grey" or the too black (and not gun metal) I'll choose all the way the "too black" version. For me the "light grey" is a total turn off for me
  8. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a white explorerII. At PureTime, photo tell that indices are in correct color, that is black ( and not grey like TrustyTime or Perfectclones) . Somebody who bought it from PureTime recently can confirm they are effectivly black. Or recommendation where I can buy one with correct indices/hands color. Thanks.
  9. -5min/24hr is very very bad. I don't think lying it on side or dial down will give a +5min boost. If yes, this mvt have a real problem. It need to be regulated by a watch maker.
  10. It's probably a DG 2813 that beat at 6 bps. The only true smooth second hand mvt is the mvt build by Seiko, the Spring Drive mvt. Demo here But you will need to pull out a lot of cash from your pocket to get it
  11. PM to him. Since the release of the PO 42mm 5th gen, A4813 version (arround $150) not sure if he will continue to stock the POrikaa.
  12. Now that Puretime just release a lite version of the sub ceramic, between Trusty and Puretime, which one is a better rep ? Eagle eye, input will be welcome. http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=6597&zenid=2552891e457cb8a5823bd44eefe2abbe http://puretimewatch.com/product/submariner-116610-ln-black-ceramic-a21j/ For me, they look the same god'em things, even the price, only exception, one use sapphire, other one use mineral. DO I MISS SOMETHING HERE
  13. to jchurch , Do you find the combo strap/buckle comfortable?
  14. I prefer the woman snipper caracter in this movie, most sexy snipper I ever seen
  15. Great, finaly, a clear explanation.
  16. I'll say yes to this. Or, if they specify the watch use a A4813, that mean implicitly it's a 28.8k bph.
  17. Ambassador of Omega, George Clooney, in The American movie:
  18. Very interesting Do you know if a DG4813 can be a direct swap for a DG2813 ? I read a lot of different opinion on that. Your input will be welcome.
  19. A21j (j for jewels, so 21 jewel) without mention anything else it's a DG2813 that beat at ~21k bpm. The DG4813 it's the 28,000 mvt (i.e ~28k bpm) version of the DG2813.
  20. Are you sure it's full wound! Crank it manually, about 50 turns, leave it on your night table, and check tomorow. And if there's a problem, communicate with the member. It's a $15 mvt, you can change it in worst case scenario. I can add that this kind of mvt can be very very precise.
